Customer James recently completed an epic e-bike ride from Emsworth right on the South Coast, to Carlisle via the Shipwrights' Way, Grand Union Canal and Lake District, a journey of over 500 miles in 7 days and a slightly eccentric return journey from a wedding party. James rode one of our Raleigh Motus GTs while Ted had a Riese & Mueller.
They faced some challenging conditions including driving headwinds and heavy snow but also some beautiful days and saw more of the country than many of us get to see in a decade.
I was curious (and if I'm honest, slightly worried) to see how the Motus would manage keeping up with the top-end Riese & Muller but, equipped with a spare battery and charger, James found it performed admirably covering almost 100 miles on the longest day and more than coped with the varied terrain along the way.
