Group cycling and bike hire at Queen Elizabeth Country Park
Queen Elizabeth Country Park sits three miles south of Petersfield, right on the South Downs Way with over 2,000 acres of downland and woodland to ride through, making it the ideal setting for group cycling days.
The terrain shifts from wide, rolling chalk tracks to wooded singletrack and the odd proper climb up towards Butser Hill, the highest point on the whole South Downs Way.
It's varied enough to keep a group interested for a full day, but forgiving enough that nobody needs to be a serious cyclist to enjoy it.
That combination is exactly why it works so well for a corporate day out.

Looking for a more social setting?
We also run corporate cycling days at at West Ashling, near Chichester, just a short drive from QECP. With the stunning Ashling Park as our base, vineyard tours, room hire, dining experiences and overnight stays are all available.
Bikes and routes for every ability
Mixed ability groups are the rule rather than the exception on a corporate team building day and it's something we plan for from the start.
The eBikes take the effort out of the climbs, so nobody's left behind and we split routes and pacing to suit whoever's riding. Whether your team is mostly confident cyclists or has a fair few who haven't ridden in years, everyone ends up covering the same ground together.
Group sizes and what we can handle
We regularly cater for groups ranging from a handful of riders up to 40 or more, splitting larger teams into smaller groups, with the option of each group to be led by one of our guides so nobody's riding further ahead or behind than they'd like.
For bigger bookings or specific dates, particularly over the summer months, we'd recommend getting in touch a few weeks ahead to make sure we can secure enough bikes and guides for your date.
Food, drink and finishing touches
QECP has its own café on site for coffee and lunch before or after your ride and if you're heading further along the South Downs Way, Buriton has two good pubs worth stopping at, or East Meon a little further on for something more of an occasion.
If you'd like us to build a food or drink stop into the route itself, just let us know when you book and we'll plan it in.
What our corporate clients say
"We had a corporate day out with Southern eBike Rentals and it was so good. Olly, Dan and Paul were so helpful and knowledgeable with route planning and taught us how to use the eBikes and made sure everyone was happy before we all set off. Dan came along with us on the 19 mile route and was so incredibly helpful and kind, helping us when we’d fallen off or got lost.
The eBikes themselves are such high quality, and it was really easy to get used to and to ride along the South Downs with, especially the big hill climbs. The eBike battery lasted the whole 19 miles and had plenty of battery left even at the end of the day.
I would highly recommend Southern eBike Rentals for a corporate day out around Queen Elizabeth Country Park and the surrounding areas, it was definitely a team day out to remember!" - Serenity Digital
