We can offer ex-fleet, used and brand new electric (and non-electric) bikes to buy through the government’s Cycle to Work scheme, using Cyclescheme.
The savings come from tax efficiency and can reach almost 50% of the normal price on a brand-new bike (and even more by buying “used approved” bike). What’s more, you can pay for it over many months, from your salary.

What bikes are available
Our ex-fleet used bikes available to buy on a “Cycle to Work” basis include electric mountain bikes, electric touring, mountain bikes and gravel bikes. Browse our website but also give us a call to see what we will have available soon.
We can also supply brand new bikes (of all kinds) to order and can often offer you a test ride on a rental model first.
How does buying a used bike through CycleScheme work?
By buying one of our ex-rental fleet bikes, you can save even more as we sell these at a significant discount to RRP before the benefits of Ride to Work are calculated.
All bikes sold under the scheme come with a 12-month warranty, giving you peace of mind.
What is the process of getting a bike through Cycle to Work?
You start by choosing a bike and our team will be happy to chat to you about exactly what you are looking for and provide advice.
Once you have chosen your bike and any accessories (see below), we will provide a quotation so that you can request a certificate of that value from your employer. Once you certificate has been authorized, we will redeem it. Once you have signed your employer agreement we will release or deliver the bike to you.
Your bike remains the property of your employer until the end of the agreement term and you may have an option to pay off the small residual value so that you own it.
Can I add accessories like helmets, locks and lights to my order?
Yes, absolutely – when you buy a bike you can add most cycling related accessories.
Can you ship bikes?
Yes, we can ship both new and ex-fleet bikes. In the case of ex-fleet bikes, we prefer that you come and collect (and preferably ride) the bike in person so that you can see the condition before you commit. For used bikes, if you cannot come to us, we send you a full video show round before you commit to the bike.
What about returns?
We do not accept returns of used or new bikes because you changed your mind. If a bike should be faulty or defective, we will repair (or replace if it cannot be repaired) it within 12 months of purchase. Warranty returns must be brought or shipped to us at your expense.
